As a founder, entrepreneur and former CEO of AVG Technologies I am very knowledgeable in the areas of Information Technology, business leadership, disruptive innovation and consumer and enterprise cyber security and privacy rights and dynamics, both within the U.S. and globally. I am the former CEO of AVG Technologies. My team and I took AVG public on the New York Stock Exchange (Symbol: AVG) and delivered six-fold revenue growth and delivered a 160x return to investors. We accomplished this through leveraging Freemium, Product Lead Growth (PLG) and a "Bottoms Up" sales strategy in the consumer  and enterprise security software spaces. 

Today, as a full time partner at Evolution Equity, I spend my time helping cyber security companies scale and grow, whether that be through direct investment as a partner at Evolution or assisting on the ground with market analysis, vision, strategy, GTM, international expansion, fundraising, M&A and overall focus and execution.

I am the co-author of three books: Wide Open Privacy: Strategies for the Digital Life, The Cybergap and Cyber Militia (IT-Harvest Press). I have also published a range of blogs, white papers and articles on founding, growing and exiting companies as well as the future of security, privacy, cyber warfare, children’s online safety, consumer dynamics and strategic innovation.  I've appeared frequently in global media including CNBC, Bloomberg, Yahoo Finance, Forbes, Fast Company, the Financial Times—and often speak as a thought leader on the future of privacy, cyber security, consumer dynamics and disruptive innovation.
